Fear is Welcome Here
This picture was taken over 15 years ago when I resisted fear. Now I lean into it because it teaches me about myself. I’ve found that embracing and being transparent about my fearful nature has helped others to do the same.
In fact, I published a whole collection of poetry detailing My Fears Out Loud. It is my goal to help name, normalize, befriend, and develop a healthy relationship with fear (and all of our feelings, which are valid).
The next time you’re #afraid, try to find out why. Be #open and #curious. You might be surprised by what you discover.
